4 games that I regret spending money on.

The most controversial representative of this list, if about the other games I can definitely say that for me personally they were a bad purchase about this game no. And here’s why: firstly, the only thing missing from the game’s plot before descending into complete nonsense is the evil Russians from Call of Duty and the powerful secret organization of the Templars from Assassin’s Creed or the patriots from Metal Gear Solid. The plot is clear from the first videos and shows the transformation of a young pro-Roman patriot into a liberal. The main intrigue of the plot is only when the young liberal will finally bloodily overthrow Emperor Pulantine. Although in defense of the plot, one can note a considerable number of spectacular and memorable moments, for example, the landing on the shores of Britain and a huge stuffed animal intended for raw smoking of Roman legionnaires. If you lengthen the plot a little by a few hours, adding a couple of Maria’s travels, and change the first chapter so that the main plot plot is not revealed within the first 10 minutes, the plot might turn out quite good.
Secondly, the gameplay of the game is interesting only until the player has not yet memorized all the finishing moves that the character is capable of, after this moment QTEs turn into torment for the player, because the game does not need your participation at all to perform finishing moves, they will be performed themselves, and are performed a huge number of times. And seeing the same animation 110 times becomes painful. Most likely, the primitive gameplay was a consequence of the fact that the game was originally developed for the Kinect sensor and was planned as a hardcore FPS with hand-to-hand combat. After changing the positioning, the play on words about its hardcore character is gone. At the very end of the game, a completely inappropriate QTE appears, which consists of taking turns finishing off soldiers emerging from behind the columns one by one, it was, so to speak, a control blow for those who are not yet tired of finishing moves. In defense of the spinal, one-button gameplay with finishing moves performed automatically, one can note its ease of learning and a rather beautiful bloody picture, which, due to its monotony, gets boring by the end of the game.
Third, we all love challenging bosses. So there are no difficult bosses in the game at all, except for one barbarian leader, and it’s hard to call them bosses. The leader goes through the same QTE, which at this moment for some reason requires the active participation of the player. The rest of the “bosses” are completed by frequently pressing the attack button.

Fourthly, and this is the main problem of the game and the main reason for its inclusion in this list – it is of course the length. The length of the game, to put it mildly, leaves much to be desired: 5 hours if you don’t try to get maximum achievements, or 7 hours with all the achievements. Although short games are a modern trend.
The fifth reason is the hastily added and completely unnecessary gladiator mode. Adding this mode to the game is similar to adding one peninsula, the mode is small and has no meaning, but a whole event was created from it. The mode is a total, long and boring extermination of enemy waves with one more player or in splendid isolation, boring finishing off of opponents is also present. All interaction between players consists of raising a downed comrade and rare joint finishing moves.
The game has no clear advantages other than graphics; if you change the gameplay, the plot and come up with other more interesting cooperative game modes, the game would be much better. Otherwise, I don’t recommend buying the game, the game is easier, better and easier to play on YouTube in Full HD, wasting finishing moves.

Lords of the fallen

There are quite a few https://gamblingdata.net/casinos/las-vegas-usa-casino/ reasons for this game to be included in this list; the secondary nature and total copying themselves are made from a very high-quality primary source and are made with sufficient quality, so for me personally these are not disadvantages. Therefore, I will list exactly the reasons why I personally do not recommend buying the game.
Firstly, and this is perhaps the main disadvantage of the game, the game itself is wildly slow, the speed with which the characters move here makes you think about the pressure on this planet. While the main character is swinging an ax, you can have a snack, but while he is putting up a shield, he can be killed a dozen times. The whole wildly slow gameplay comes down to the fact that both the enemies and the main character periodically need to rest at the moment when the energy runs out, it is at this moment that you either need to run away from the enemy, or approach and hit him. This is the whole essence of the game and the way you need to kill bosses.

Most likely the first reason arose due to the second main disadvantage of the game – its length. Apparently this was exactly the way they decided to artificially increase the duration of the game. You can complete the game in 5 hours if you know how to beat the bosses or 11 hours if you are completing it for the first time and have never launched the DS. Also, to increase the duration after the battle with the bosses, we are constantly forced to endlessly go back throughout the game.
The game’s plot also leaves much to be desired. The plot is revealed through dialogues with people who despise the main character. Considering him a rude, decorated idiot whose place is in a cell and not like on the screens of our monitors. The main character responds to them with the same rudeness, and through such dialogues we get snippets of the plot. One of the advantages of the plot is the fairly correct representation of the priests as people with a double bottom.
The advantages of the game include graphics and fairly high-quality work of designers and artists. I recommend the game only to DS fans, and then only at a big discount and only for the sake of understanding that at the moment there is nothing to compare the DS with.

Assetto Corsa

A game that still has hope for healing and I believe that the game will get better. No matter how much I swore not to buy anything from early access or greenlight, but no, I still couldn’t stand it and bought it. The game at the moment is a meager set of 15 cars and 10 tracks and that’s actually all it can boast of. A career is a set of races in 15 cars on 10 tracks and that’s it. The game is updated approximately once every 2-3 weeks, but this does not bring noticeable changes to the game, but there is still hope for the evolution of the game.
I also want to note that the game seemed quite difficult to master. The gameplay of the game, even for me, a person who has spent hundreds of hours on grid and other quite complex racing projects, is a constant struggle with the behavior of the car in turns, even a small light car like the Trofeo Abarth 500 appears in the game as a heavy and creaky iron, thanks to which driving is constantly on the limit.I would also like to note the work of the suspension of almost all cars in the game, even with light braking the car nosedives sharply, and when turning, especially when steering the car, the car rolls noticeably, although in theory racing cars have a fairly stiff suspension that should not allow this to happen.
The list of cars is filled mainly with expensive sports cars that have nothing to do with motorsport. But I want to see JDM classics, European classic cars, rear-wheel drive coupes in the simulator, but no, in every racing game we again see advertisements for boring supercars. In general, the fleet of cars is distantly related to the theme of the game, although perhaps this can be justified by the developers’ love for beautiful and luxury cars. This drawback of the game can be easily corrected by expanding the fleet, or releasing themed sets of cars like the grid series.

Hotline Miami

An excellent game, a game that was included in this list for an annoying and ridiculous reason, the version for Steam has never been able to start for me, and judging by the reviews, this problem is quite common and has not been corrected by the developers, despite the rather long period since the release of the game, which of course left an imprint on my attitude towards them. Therefore, I was forced to download a completely wrong repack from Uncle Vasya from a torrent, to whom I express many thanks for the fact that he was able to fix the game, which worked perfectly, and I completed this game in this way.
The question arises: why buy a game if the developer doesn’t want to fix the problem with it?? Does he deserve money when addressing the players??
Regarding the game, I would like to note the rather interesting gameplay, the high dynamics of the game, the gorgeous soundtrack, but the game has a rather crumpled ending and it is unclear why several additional levels were added, which are similar to the early prototypes of the game.
I would also like to note the system of masks in the game, which can noticeably change it when replaying the game.
By changing the end of the game a little, removing unnecessary episodes and starting to support players, the game would, in my opinion, become noticeably better.
